Since the workshop I've been trying to keep my head above water with the kids, taxes, etc. I went on a scrapbook weekend at the beach in Seaside. My first attempt at scrapbooking. The idea is to start putting pictures of my precious children in albums that they'll have to look back on in years to come. A treasure of their lives and our good time together.
Back to dreams and dolphins...I'm wondering if you are a type A person with all those irons in the fire. How wonderful for you to have that special experience with the dolphin that made all your thoughts of busy activities and obligations fade away. I had a chance this weekend to sit on a bench on the side of a mountain with another friend of mine that is a busy mom. We had about 45 mins. of quiet time to just look out in the distance at 4 mountain peaks. When I told my friend that I felt guilty because I wasn't "doing" something, she urged me to just sit and relax. In that same way, your stories always encourage me to live a better life, be a better person and reflect on what God wants me to be. Thanks so much for sharing yourself. Maybe witness protection is the answer =)
I love your writing style and I am hoping to get my hands on Flickering Light and then An Absence So Great. My only ways and means, here in Latvia, is Amazon.Co.UK. I am just now with Cassie pretending to be Mrs. Stearns. Mystic Sweet Communion waits in the wings. I really, really want to swim with dolphins. I don't swim well, but those amazing creatures are intelligent and actually help and care for humans, rescuing them from sharks on occasion, and from drowning often, and expecting nothing in return. Much nicer than most people! And you always spark ideas in my head! Thanks for sharing these words of encouragement!Kimiko&Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06417528992603977310noreply@blogger.com
